First of all, you forgot about Liriano who if Santana is traded, is likely to be our ace next year (not too shabby), and I think its much much more likely that we get Hughes, Cabrera and Austin Jackson. If I'm the Twins, I'd rather do that deal (which is reportedly close to being on the table) rather than with the Red Sox, because Lester is good, but not overpowering, and if we have an overpowering arm like Hughes' next to Liriano, then that is going to be what works best for our rotation. Power arm (Liriano), power arm (Hughes), Location (Slowey), Location (Baker), Location (Boof). Also, if we did the trade with the Yankees, the addition of Cabrera rather than Crisp would allow us to move Cuddyer back to 3rd, put Young in right, and Kubel/Monroe/Jackson in left, and all of a sudden we have one of the most dangerous lineups in the majors with Casilla, Mauer, Young, Morneau, Cuddyer, Kubel, Cabrera, Jackson, Harris/Punto. Wow.
